In the beautiful seaside town of Ogunquit, Maine, across from the landmark Leavitt Theater on Main St. resides Stonehome Estate Jewelers. Since its founding in the late 1980’s by owner Paul Duchesne, Stonehome has been recognized as one of the premier estate jewelers in the New England area.

The name was derived from the first retail location in a period stone home in York, Maine where he created a little jewel box of a shop. Outgrowing this space, Stonehome went on to enjoy various multiple locations in Portsmouth, NH, and Portland and Kennebunkport Maine.

Prior to his retail venture, Paul started his career in the jewelry business in Boston giving him 40 plus years in the business to date. He holds his GIA certification in diamond appraisal. Most recently his purchase of The Whistling Oyster in the Perkins Cove section of Ogunquit has rounded out Paul’s affection for jewelry of all kinds.

Along with his small and dedicated staff, a visit to Stonehome Estate Jewelers is like no other…one of a kind.
